Strapping Machine
Strapping machines (also known as bundling machines) utilize mechanical and electronic control systems to secure items by tensioning, sealing, and cutting strapping materials (such as PP or PET straps).
Different models feature varying strap-tensioning and heat-sealing systems; generally, they are categorized into fully automatic and semi-automatic models.
With semi-automatic models, the operator manually wraps the strap around the product; the machine then automatically retracts the strap to the desired tension (adjustable) before sealing and cutting it.
Fully automatic models feature automatic strap feeding, sensing, and retraction capabilities. Some models utilize belt or roller conveyors, making them ideal for integration into automated packaging lines. When combined with other equipment—such as conveyors—they can perform single-strap, dual-strap, or cross-strapping (tic-tac-toe pattern) operations.
Fully automatic models can also be integrated with our company’s case sealers, conveyors, inkjet printers, and robotic arms to create unmanned, automated packaging lines.
